Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 11, 2026
At Mograph, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you sign in (e.g., via Google), we collect basic profile information such as your email address and name.
- Content: We store the sequences, assets, and metadata you upload or generate using our service.
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our platform to improve our services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain Mograph.
- Authenticate you and secure your account.
- Render and export your motion graphics.
- Communicate with you about updates or support.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers for infrastructure:
- Authentication: Neon Auth (via Google).
- Storage & Database: Neon Postgres and Google Cloud Storage.
- AI Generation: OpenRouter and Google Gemini.
Your data may be processed by these providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account information and user content while an account is active and as needed to provide the service.
You may request account deletion by contacting support through an available Mograph support channel. We may ask you to verify control of the account before processing the request. Once verified:
- We will disable the account and delete or anonymize its profile information, private sequences, uploaded assets, generated sequence packages, render jobs, and render outputs within 30 days.
- Unused credits are forfeited and are not transferable. Completed purchases remain subject to the applicable refund policy.
- Payment, credit-ledger, security, fraud-prevention, and audit records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or security purposes. Where practical, retained records are separated from active product data and access is restricted.
- Data in encrypted backups may remain for up to 90 additional days before being overwritten through the normal backup cycle. Backup data is not restored except for disaster recovery or security purposes.
- Data already aggregated or irreversibly anonymized may be retained because it can no longer identify the account holder.
Deletion does not affect content the user independently exported or shared outside Mograph. If a deletion request cannot be completed because of a legal hold, active dispute, or security investigation, we will retain only the data needed for that purpose and delete it when the restriction ends.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date.
